Agalsidase beta is a prescription medication used to treat Fabry disease. Agalsidase beta belongs to a group of drugs called enzymes.  These work by replacing a missing enzyme that people with Fabry disease are missing known as alpha-galactosidase A.

This medication is available in an injectable form to be given directly into a vein (IV) by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects of agalsidase beta include chills, fever, changes in blood pressure, and nausea.

Agalsidase beta can also cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how agalsidase beta affects you.
