Kerlone is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure. Kerlone belongs to a group of drugs called beta blockers. These work by slowing the heart rate to increase blood flow and lower blood pressure. 

This medication comes in an oral (by mouth) tablet form and is usually taken once a day, with or without food.

Common side effects of Kerlone include headache and tiredness.

Kerlone can also cause drowsiness and dizziness. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how Kerlone affects you.

*Brand name Kerlone tablets are no longer available. Generic versions are made available by several manufacturers.
