Naftifine is a prescription medication used to treat fungal skin infections such as jock itch, ringworm, and athlete's foot. Naftifine belongs to a group of drugs called antifungals. These work by stopping the growth of fungi. 

This medication comes as a topical cream and gel to be applied to the skin. The cream is usually used once a day. The gel is usually used twice a day.

Common side effects of naftifine include include burning/stinging and dryness of the skin.
