Buzz Aldrin, one of America’s most beloved and famous astronauts, publicly admitted to suffering from depression after returning from the Apollo 11 space flight. Aldrin said that he wasn’t ready for the huge public acclaim waiting for him back on Earth and turned to drinking heavily, which caused his depression to increase.
