If dad is the adventurous-type and you live near a lake, river or ocean, you may want to do something a little different in the water. Renting a kayak or canoe can both be great low-impact activities that may improve your physical fitness, strength and flexibility. These activities can be meditative or exhilarating, depending on where and how they are done.
