Bad Habit: Distracted Eating

According to multiple studies, multitasking while eating, such as watching TV or working, can lead to overeating. If that wasn’t enough, an estimated 20-25 percent of daily energy is consumed in front of a TV. Distracted eating is also associated with unhealthy snacking (chips, soda, etc.). Combine those unhealthy snacks with overeating and it’s no surprise that it leads to weight gain.
